Our Company was incorporated in Malaysia under the Companies Act 1965 as a private limited company on 23 November 2009 under the name CRG Incorporated Sdn Bhd. On 13 August 2018, our Company was converted into a public limited company under the name of CRG Incorporated Berhad and subsequently listed on the LEAP Market of Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad on 28 November 2018. The Company changed its name to Carlo Rino Group Berhad on 27 December 2022.
Our Company is an investment holding company while our subsidiaries are principally involved in the design, marketing and retailing of women footwear, handbags and accessories; and provision of management services. Carlo Rino products are targeted at young working adults between the ages of 18 and 35. The Carlo Rino brand has been in the market for the past 34 years.
In 2012, we were further licensed with the trademarks to the Carlo Rino brand, allowing us to have presence in Indonesia and Vietnam.
In 2015, we launched our online platform (https://www.carlorino.net) extending our sales channels. We began to market our products via third-party e-commerce marketplace, namely Zalora, Lazada and Shopee in 2014, 2016 and 2018, respectively.
To further expand our presence in Indonesia and Vietnam, our Company incorporated two subsidiaries in these countries in 2016 to undertake the wholesale and marketing of Carlo Rino and CR2 range of products. Since then, we have grown our retail presence to 6 boutiques and 8 departmental store counters in these 2 countries through our authorised dealers.
We made our foray into the Middle East in 2015 after the appointment of a distributor in Kuwait to market our Carlo Rino range of products. In 2017, we penetrated Saudi Arabia with the appointment of another authorised distributor to market Carlo Rino range of products together with other Middle Eastern countries like United Arab Emirates, Qatar, Kingdom of Bahrain and Sultanate of Oman. The authorized distributor has since launched a boutique in Saudi Arabia.
At present, we have 40 boutiques and outlets and over 80 departmental store counters in Malaysia and online presence in other parts of the world.
